Engineered for submerged operation

With self-cleaning lenses, multiple sensors, compact size, and low weight - the Hammerhead camera is engineered for optimal performance in submerged pens and rough environments.
Self-cleaning, and custom lenses
Self-cleaning lenses is a game-changer for operating in submerged pens. It significantly reduces the need for maintenance. The hammerhead camera operates with custom biomass lenses, and a custom hight resolution lice-lens.
Additional sensors reduces need for equipment
The Hammerhead camera records water temperature and depth. Additionally, there is space for sensors to measure oxygen and salinity levels.
Compact and light weight
Weighing in at below 10kg, the hammerhead camera is the most compact camera on the market, making it easy to handle, and simplifying work at the pen.

Designed for submerged operation

Reduces the need for maintenance

The Hammerhead is built for use in submerged pens, where maintenance is costly and time-consuming. Its compact size simplifies installation, and with both self-cleaning technology, and a screwless chassis, the need for follow-up is minimal. This allows for the camera to stay submerged in the pen for significantly longer periods.

Reduces the need for additional equipment in the pen

Records water depth and temperature - with port for O2 and salinity

By integrating multiple sensors into a single unit, the overall amount of equipment in the pen can be reduced. With more measurements and data points available in the same system, it also becomes easier to see correlations between various factors that may impact fish welfare and production.

Handles rough and challenging conditions

With its compact and streamlined design, the Hammerhead is well suited for use in challenging environments and under difficult weather conditions. It is less affected by strong underwater currents and rough seas, remaining stable even in demanding conditions. This ensures optimal data collection and reliable monitoring of the fish at all times.

Captures over 12 images per second

In the pen, the Hammerhead captures over one million high-resolution images per day, equivalent to more than twelve images per second. The camera automatically sorts these images and sends the most relevant ones to the cloud, where they are analyzed using artificial intelligence and advanced machine learning to provide daily updates on lice counts, continuous weight estimates, and insights into fish welfare and behavior.
